For 25 years, The MKE Grows Garden Network, facilitated by Groundwork Milwaukee, has convened and built power with nearly 100 community gardens and their leaders to realize our vision of an environmentally healthy we city. We're sharing more photos from our Arbor Day events from this past April! 🌳 Along with many community groups, we planted 21 trees at Moody Park in the Amani Neighborhood! We are grateful for everyone who came out and helped us work to sustain some of Milwaukee's sacred green spaces! 🏑🎍

A few weeks ago, our Program Manager, Corrine, took part in a Groundwork Youth Workforce Retreat at Yellowstone National Park! πŸŒ„During the trip, Corrine helped with fence-building service projects with the Yellowstone Youth Conservation Corps. Corrine also learned how to collect bison samples for ongoing conservation projects, and got to visit Mammoth Hot Springs, Lamar Valley, and the Porcelain Basin Trail in Norris Geyser Basin! β˜€πŸͺ» We are excited to share some of the great photos she took during the trip!
