If we hung out at all this year and you asked me what I’d been listening to, there’s a solid chance the answer was Friendship. Their music hits that David Berman-y sweet spot of poignant, funny, mystical, and melancholic country-tinged rock n roll and Dan should probably be on the “lyricist Mt Rushmore” if you ask me.

I am incredibly grateful and excited that we get to play with them and the rest of this awesome lineup tonight at Anodyne!

Life in Public kicks things off at 7:30 sharp and we’re on second. HIGHLY recommend coming early and staying for the whole show.

We’ve got three more shows coming up (one yet to be announced 👀) before we take some time off from playing live (probably a lot of time) to focus on recording our ever-growing backlog of new songs.

7/10 (this thursday) - Opening up for Friendship + 2nd Grade on tour from Philly with Life in Public at the Walker’s Point Anodyne. Friendship just released a fantastic new album and we’re HUGE fans of every band in this lineup and think you will be too.

7/31 - Our Chicago debut at Burlington Bar with Emily Jane Powers, Night Again, + Brass Calf. Truly another bonkers lineup. Brass Calf rips and we’ve been friends and fans of EJP + Night Again for years.

I honestly didn’t realize until Shaner pointed out at practice last night that next week friday will be VP’s first time EVER playing our beautiful hometown of Green Bay, Wiscansin!!

Excited to share the stage with homies and fellow Frozen Tundra expats Night Again, as well as some soon-to-be homies from the UP at the illustrious GBUFO Museum 🤙🤙

🚨🚨We will also be giving out trillion dollar checks to two lucky patriots who sign our petition promising to attend this monumental rock and roll show. Our lawyers say it’s “very legal” and that s**t goes over “well” in ole Titletown, USA…
