Patrika is the ninth Gate of Jaipur. You'll find lovers and newly wedded couples promenading through it's fresco painted corridors.

The "Jaipur Fresco" technique, which involves painting on wet plaster was used to create the patterns and stories that you'll find throughout the columns and walls. This unique method of painting allows the pigments to be absorbed into the surface to create a durable finish. This style also nods to influences from the Shekhawati region, known for its elaborately painted havelis.
