We have some exciting news to share! Last Fall at the PHR National Convention, the WI Chapter's own Jason "J.J." Johns was elected as National President! But wait, there's more... :) J.J. has appointed two fellow members of the WI Chapter to serve as national officers: Patrick "Squatch" Dunn has been selected as National Sec/Trez and Timothy "Tage" La Sage has accepted appointment as the National Chappy. Congrats brothers, we know you will lead well and do Wisconsin proud!

The PHR of WI is grateful that founding member and former Prez Scott "Krutch" Kruchten had a successful surgery today to address an issue related to his combat injuries that has been plaguing him for a long time. Sun Prairie police issue Green Alert for 'missing veteran at risk' SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. — The Sun Prairie Police Department is seeking the public's help in locating a "missing veteran at risk."

Our Purple Heart Riders surely support our amazing Fisher House Wisconsin and their mission. Supporting veterans by ensuring their families by staying at the amazing Fisher House 16 suite homes when veterans are having overnight short or long term health care.

As Purple Heart recipients, we all surely have had our VA hospital visits and some of those visits were long-term health care. To have our families next to us and taken care of amazingly like the Fisher House Foundation and our Fisher House Wisconsin does, we are so thankful for their support and dedication.

We are very excited for the new Fisher House that will be built to support the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital soon and our PHR Riders will surely be there to support that grand opening

Yesterday, the Madison VA held a ceremony commemorating Nat Purple Heart Day and to induct 5 veterans into their new P-Heart Hall of Honor. Our very own Bill “Blue” Maves was inducted! Blue served as a Marine in Vietnam, and an additional 30 years of service in the Army/ARNG, and was WIA in Iraq almost 40 years after serving in ‘Nam. “You’re our boy Blue!”

The Purple Heart Riders-WI Chapter rides for all veterans and their families. Today, August 7th, we honor those who have shed their blood while fighting to protect the sacred liberties we all cherish.

Chapter V.P. Squatch, SAA Krutch (& 1st lady Amy) and Nat Veep J.J. (along with his daughter Abby who sang a beautful SSB) attended the IUOE Local 139 annual picnic on Saturday where Marine mortarman Jimmy Rehme received a gorgeous 2024 Street Glide from Hogs for Heroes. And IUOE surprised Kev & Aud with a $100K check raised for HFH this year! WOW is all that can be said. Then everyone scooted to link up with the Oxford VFW and Auxiliary, Neenah Valley Post 6003 Riders who were riding to raise funds of their own for HFH! Great day all around!
