UWM Inclusive Excellence Center

The FG+RC houses the U1.0 First-Generation Community. This program is primarily designed to assist first-generation students get acclimated to life on campus.

Founded by students and opening its doors in September 2012, at the First-Generation+ Resource Center supports first-generation students, DREAMERS, and Lawton scholars, in addition to all UWM students. It regularly holds events in the office for first-generation students. The FG+RC is also home of the Lawton Scholars Program.
