Flat lay photographs are so important to me where possible because they document not only the beautiful details of your day and the current or future family heirlooms such as jewelry, but also they are an incredibly condensed summary of the entire work of art that is your wedding celebration. Think of it as a perfect Mille-feuille - a little, artfully pleasing pastry to look at, full of delicious layers and concentrated flavors all exploding into one perfect bite. Trust me, don’t skip it. While it’s not the ‘main course’ of your wedding album, it sure is a lovely treat you will not want to skip!
