Against The Grain Brewery - Beans & Barley

Thank you New Glarus Brewing Co.

Hearty and full-bodied this is a "Big" bier. Brewed in the Reinheitsgebot tradition, our Bock comes by its mahogany hue naturally. You can expect this bier to be complex and smooth with deep chocolate and coffee undertones, complementing the rich bouquet. No matter if you choose to enjoy our bock before, during or after dinner, remember to serve at about 48°F. Because like many good things in life...the warmer the bock is, the sweeter it gets.

The burgers at Merriment Social are ridiculously flavorful. This is their "Saul Goodburger". A 1/4 lb patty, jack cheese, carnitas chilaquiles tostada, pickled jalapeño, green hatch chile crema! From the owner Mr. Cameron Whyte!

It has a frickin' whole tostada on the burger!

"Truck Garden" sandwich ($8.75). Tomato, avocado, mushrooms, sprouts, black olives, bell peppers, red onion as well as a mix of marinated cucumbers, radishes and turnips. The fries I got for my side were waffle cut and could have been a bit crispier.
The sandwich also came with a thin slice of cantaloupe and watermelon.

Enjoyed lunch at Elsa's On The Park in Downtown, Milwaukee. I had the "Truck Garden" sandwich ($8.75).

Definitely a place to consider for a lunch work meeting or semi-formal date.
