It’s officially David Vannucchi Day at Irgens.
After setting a personal record at the 2026 Milwaukee Marathon this past weekend, David, a Financial Analyst at Irgens, proved that “hobby jogger” (as the Milwaukee Journal is calling him) might be underselling it just a bit.
Congrats on an incredible run, David.

Health isn’t just about what happens inside a building, it's shaped by the spaces around it.
This concept focuses on creating a more walkable, accessible, and nature-connected environment within Milwaukee County Research Park. One that encourages movement, time outdoors, and everyday well-being.
A healthier setting for the people who work here, visit, and live nearby.

What if Milwaukee County Research Park wasn't just a place to work?
Another focus is on introducing a true mix of uses, bringing together workplace, residential, retail, and hospitality into one connected environment. The goal is to create energy throughout the day, not just during working hours. A place where people can grab coffee, meet clients, spend time outdoors, and stay after work, all in the same district.
It’s a shift toward a more active, modern destination that better reflects how people want to work and spend time today.
Community feedback is welcome as these ideas continue to take shape.

Transforming Milwaukee County Research Park means improving how people move through it, making it simpler and safer to get around.
That includes rethinking intersections, improving traffic flow, and designing roads that work better for everyone, not just drivers. It’s a more practical side of the plan, but one that has a big impact on the day-to-day experience in MCRP.

Improving how people move through Milwaukee County Research Park is a key part of the vision for its future.
The goal is simple: make it easier and safer to walk and bike.
Plans include expanded sidewalks, improved crossings, and better-connected bike routes that link the park with nearby neighborhoods and surrounding amenities.
Small improvements like these can make a big difference in how people experience the Research Park every day.

Places and spaces that bring people together.
One of the core priorities identified in the joint Master Plan study between the City of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin Government, and Irgens is strengthening placemaking within Milwaukee County Research Park.
This means transforming underutilized areas into vibrant public gathering spaces designed for connection, activity, and year-round use.
Outdoor plazas. Flexible green space. Recreation. Thoughtful landscaping. Areas that invite employees, residents, and visitors to spend time here, not just pass through.
We welcome continued community feedback as the vision for MCRP moves forward: bit.ly/4rT4byw
