Meet Annie — Lead Planner at Heather Farr Events 🤍

Annie has spent nearly her entire professional career in weddings and events, beginning as an event coordinator’s assistant immediately after high school. Nearly 12 years later, her passion for creating seamless celebrations and supporting couples is stronger than ever.

Known for her calm energy, problem-solving skills, and ability to keep a timeline on track, Annie helps wedding days feel organized, stress-free, and enjoyable from start to finish.

Her favorite moment of the day? The first dance. Seeing couples surrounded by all of the people who love and support them never gets old.

Outside of weddings, you’ll find Annie at the gym, exploring farmers markets, walking downtown with her boyfriend, or dreaming up her next adventure to places like Greece, Dubai, Prague, or Samoa.

One thing you should know about Annie: she’s going to remind you to eat, drink water, take a deep breath, and soak it all in. 🤍

Meet Heather — Owner & Founder of Heather Farr Events 🤍

Heather founded HFE in 2016 when her boys were just 3 and 1 years old, with the goal of continuing to build a career she loved while also creating a life where she could be present for her children as they grew. Nearly a decade later, the business has truly grown alongside her family.

Before launching HFE, Heather built a strong foundation in event planning, catering, venue sales, and event operations — experience that continues to shape the way she leads her team and approaches every celebration today. Her operational mindset, logistical expertise, and calm leadership style are what allow HFE events to feel seamless, thoughtful, and exceptionally well executed from start to finish.

Known for being equal parts sassy and sweet, Heather brings an approachable personality, refined design aesthetic, and ability to pivot effortlessly on wedding days to every event she leads. She believes the best celebrations are built on trust, collaboration, and strong relationships, and over the years has cultivated an incredible network of respected vendor partners throughout Milwaukee and beyond.

Outside of weddings, Heather enjoys traveling, hiking, listening to audiobooks, cheering on the Milwaukee Brewers, discovering new restaurants, and spending time with her husband, Mike, and their two boys, now 13 and 11 years old. She’s equally happy with an iced coffee, Diet Coke, glass of red wine, a true crime documentary, or a 90s rap playlist.

Since 2016, HFE has planned and executed hundreds of events throughout Wisconsin and beyond. What truly sets our team apart is that each of our lead planners came into wedding planning with operational event backgrounds long before stepping into the planning world. That experience gives us a deeper understanding of what it actually takes to make an event flow well from start to finish.

We don’t just focus on how an event looks — we focus on how it functions.

From vendor communication and timeline management to guest flow, room flips, logistics, and behind-the-scenes problem solving, we know how to set both our clients and vendor teams up for success so wedding days feel seamless, calm, and intentional.
