Roots Recovery
Roots Recovery Houses are a community of sober living homes in Milwaukee, WI where young people can begin to recover from alcoholism and drug addiction.
Roots residents learn self-discipline while living with a group of peers who share the common purpose of recovery. Our focus is helping young people in early recovery build strength in a climate of honesty, integrity, and friendship.

Ask Roots: What is MAT? ✨
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is more than just medication, it’s a form of support, stability, and creating a space to heal.
MAT helps decrease cravings, stabilize recovery, and open the door to healing.
And it’s not about replacing one substance with another.
It’s about giving recovery the foundation it needs to last. 🌱

We had an amazing time at WMSE's 23rd Annual Rockabilly Chili Fundraiser! 🌶️
Thanks to everyone who stopped by, tasted great chili, and helped support Hunger Task Force and our community.
It was fantastic seeing so many familiar faces and meeting new friends. Events like this remind us why we love Milwaukee!
Congrats to all the chili winners and participants. We're already looking forward to next year! 🔥🥣

🌿 Wellness Wednesday: Fuel Your Recovery with Intention 🌿
Recovery isn’t just about what you leave behind, it's about what you build.
Today’s a reminder that small, consistent actions can lead to powerful transformation.
Start here:
đź’¬ Check in with yourself. How are you really feeling today? Self-awareness is the first step toward growth.
🌞 Get outside. Fresh air, sunlight, and movement can shift your energy and reset your mindset.
🍽️ Choose nourishment. Fuel your body with foods that make you feel strong and supported from the inside out.
👥 Reach out. Recovery doesn’t happen in isolation. A quick call or message to a supportive friend can change your whole day.
Wellness isn’t a finish line, it's a daily practice.
