It may have been built in 2007 but the Marcus Majestic has all the charm and magic of an old-fashioned Hollywood theater. I dare you to find a better place to watch movies in Wisconsin.

Where am I, Milwaukee?

Bon voyage, old friend. Milwaukee’s own abandoned SS Minnow, Deep Thought, was that has made its home some 6 or so feet off the shore of Lake Michigan for the past several months is soon to be hauled away.

An anonymous donor who apparently loves the lake and dislikes cool things has made the bittersweet decision to pay for its removal. Luckily, we got some snaps of the boat and the Milwaukee public enjoying its final hours before it was taken away. Lightroom process in story/highlights.

Playing with some different prompts on Midjourney to create colorful gothic, punk posters. Lots of refinements needed but an incredible base to start post-production from. I imagine good prompt engineering in Midjourney will become quite the valuable skill in the industry.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, step-dads, god-dads, soon-to be-dads, and dads at heart out there. It really is the best job in the world.

Was lucky enough to be able to catch SuperYou at the Skylight last night. A moving and inspiring musical that premiered in Milwaukee(!!!)

There is one more chance to see it at the Skylight today at 2pm, then it heads off to the West End before inevitably landing on Broadway and picking up al the awards.

The musical centers around a young woman (played by the incredible ) who creates comic books and draws superheroes as a means to find her inner strength.

The importance of not holding back creativity is a central theme, so obviously I had to crack open Midjourney and Photoshop to make my own rendition of Lightning Girl when I got home.
