The flower stand is open today with freshly picked tulips! They won’t be here for long due to this heat, so get them while you can!

Did you know that tulips are harvested while they are still closed? I pick my tulips while they are just starting to show some color. This gives them the longest possible vase life.

Some tips for when you buy tulips as cut flowers:
▪️Trim the ends of your stems when you get them home. Trim them at an angle so they can absorb more water.
▪️Keep the wrapping on the flowers for their first few hours in the vase. This helps keep the stems stay straight as they rehydrate.
▪️Change the water daily and keep the water cool. You can drop an ice cube in to cool it off. This will prolong their case life.
▪️Keep them away from heat sources and direct sunlight. These will cause the tulips to open faster.

Freshly cut tulips last around 7 days in the vase with proper care🌷

Spring flowers are officially on watch. The first tulips of the year have finally sprung through. How gorgeous are these double tulips? Petals galore, and they almost look like a yellow peony. I know I say this every time a new flower appears, but I think I’m in love ❤️

The tulips are coming, and that only means one thing. Spring bouquet club members get ready!

This is your last chance to join the spring bouquet club. I’ll be closing the sign up this week. Don’t miss your opportunity to get your hands on some stunning spring flowers.

Don’t forget, Mother’s Day is coming up. 3 weeks of beautiful spring blooms makes for a unique and thoughtful gift.

They’re not regular flowers. They’re city flowers. 🌷🌷🌷
