MEN’S TALK MONDAY
THE FOUR PILLARS OF MEN’S WORK
Accountability • Integrity • Vulnerability • Authenticity
We've talked about Accountability, Integrity, and Vulnerability.
This week, we complete the four pillars with:
AUTHENTICITY
Authenticity is having the courage to be yourself instead of who you think you're supposed to be.
It's letting your words, actions, values, and emotions come from a genuine place.
It can look like:
Saying what you really think instead of what people want to hear.
Being honest about what you need.
Letting go of the need to always look strong.
Standing in your values, even when they aren't popular.
Being the same man when nobody is watching.
LET'S TALK.
Where in your life are you pretending to be someone you're not?
What part of yourself do you hide because you're afraid of how others will see you?
What would change if you gave yourself permission to simply be yourself?
Authenticity doesn't mean “this is just who I am” and refusing to grow.
It means being honest about who you are today while having the courage to become the man you want to be.

MEN’S TALK MONDAY
THE FOUR PILLARS OF MEN’S WORK
Accountability • Integrity • Vulnerability • Authenticity
We've talked about Accountability and Integrity.
This week, we move to the third pillar:
VULNERABILITY
Vulnerability is the courage to let yourself be seen as you really are—even when it feels uncomfortable.
For many men, vulnerability can feel like weakness.
But vulnerability isn't weakness.
It takes strength to say:
“I'm struggling.”
“I don't know what to do.”
“I need help.”
“That hurt me.”
“I'm scared.”
“I love you.”
Vulnerability creates the opportunity for honesty, connection, and trust.
LET'S TALK.
What makes it difficult for you to be vulnerable?
Who is someone you can be completely honest with?
When was the last time you asked for help instead of saying, “I've got it”?
You don't have to share everything with everyone.
Vulnerability is choosing when, where, and with whom to take off the armor.

MEN’S TALK MONDAY
THE FOUR PILLARS OF MEN’S WORK
Accountability • Integrity • Vulnerability • Authenticity
Last week, we talked about Accountability.
This week, we move to the second pillar:
INTEGRITY
Integrity is about living in alignment with your values.
It's doing what you say you'll do.
It's keeping your word.
It's making the right choice even when nobody is watching.
Integrity asks:
“Does the man I am privately match the man I show the world?”
It can look like:
Keeping a promise when it's inconvenient.
Telling the truth when a lie would be easier.
Standing by your values when there's pressure to compromise.
Admitting when you've drifted away from the man you want to be.
LET'S TALK.
What values guide the man you want to be?
Where are your actions not matching your words?
What would integrity look like for you this week?
You don't have to be perfect.
Integrity is about being honest enough to see the gap—and courageous enough to close it.

MEN’S TALK MONDAY
THE FOUR PILLARS OF MEN’S WORK
Accountability • Integrity • Vulnerability • Authenticity
This week, we start with Accountability.
Accountability isn't about blame or punishment.
It's about owning your choices, your behavior, and your impact—and being willing to do something about it.
It can sound like:
“I was wrong.”
“I see how that affected you.”
“I need to make this right.”
“I will do better.”
It can look like:
Owning your reaction instead of blaming someone else.
Keeping your commitments—or owning it when you don't.
Listening when someone tells you you've hurt them instead of becoming defensive.
Recognizing a harmful pattern and choosing to change it.
LET'S TALK.
Where could I take more accountability in my life?
When I'm confronted, do I listen or defend?
What is something I need to own—and what can I do about it?
Accountability isn't about carrying shame.
It's about having the courage to own your part and choose what happens next.
MEN’S TALK MONDAY is a weekly invitation to start conversations that matter.
Take this topic to your men's group, your friends, your family, or another man who might need the conversation.

WHAT IS MEN’S TALK MONDAY?
You may have seen our first Men’s Talk Monday post and wondered:
“What exactly is this about?”
Men’s Talk Monday is about creating a space for men to talk.
Every week, we’ll bring up a different topic—sometimes something heavy, sometimes something uncomfortable, and sometimes something we simply don't talk about enough.
The goal isn't to tell you what to think.
The goal is to start a conversation.
We live with a lot of messages about what it means to “be a man.”
Be tough.
Don't complain.
Handle it yourself.
Don't show weakness.
Keep your emotions in check.
But what happens when those rules keep us from being honest with ourselves and the people around us?
Men’s Talk Monday is about stepping outside that mold.
It's about creating room for vulnerability without shame.
Strength without silence.
Accountability without judgment.
And connection without having to pretend we've got everything figured out.
Each week's topic can be taken wherever the conversation needs to happen:
Bring it to your men's group.
Talk about it with your friends.
Bring it home to your family.
Share it with another man who might need the conversation.
There doesn't have to be a perfect answer.
Sometimes just asking the question is enough to start something meaningful.
New topic. Every Monday.
This is Men’s Talk Monday.
So let's talk.

MEN'S TALK MONDAY
“I’ve got it.”
Three words men say all the time.
Sometimes they mean it.
Sometimes they don't.
Sometimes “I’ve got it” really means:
I don't know how to ask for help.
I don't want to be a burden.
I'm afraid of what happens if I admit I'm struggling.
I've been the strong one for so long, I don't know how to be anything else.
So we smile.
We keep moving.
We carry the weight.
And when someone asks, “How are you doing?”
We say:
“I've got it.”
But here's the thing...
Strength isn't always carrying it alone.
Sometimes strength is being willing to say:
“Actually… I don't have this right now.”
And trusting another man enough to sit beside you in it.
No fixing.
No judgment.
No need to have the right words.
Just men being real with men.
This Monday, let's talk about the things we say we've got… even when we don't.
09/05/2026
How often do we hear a man say:
“I’ve got it.”
“I’m fine.”
“I can handle it.”
And maybe you can.
But you shouldn’t always have to.
Sometimes the strongest thing a man can do is let another man step in and say:
“You don’t have to carry that alone.”
The grief.
The anger.
The fear.
The shame.
The pressure to have all the answers.
The weight of being the one everyone else depends on.
You don't have to explain it perfectly.
You don't have to have it figured out.
You don't even have to put it down forever.
Just let someone hold it with you for a while.
This is what men’s work can create: a place where you can show up exactly as you are, be seen, be heard, and know that you don't have to carry everything by yourself.
Men together. Men supporting men. Men becoming more whole.
What are you carrying that you could let someone help you hold?
