Recently, I had a conversation with my mentor, and one thing he said really stuck with me:

“Ash, don’t be a secret agent.”

I’ve been thinking about that for days.

The truth is, I was holding myself back from helping people who might genuinely need it because I was worried about who would say no or who might think I was “just trying to make a sale.”

Over time, I’ve had my intentions and character questioned, and if I’m being real, it made me a little insecure in my role. But I’m done letting that stop me.

I believe in what I do. I believe protecting families matters. I believe helping people plan for the future matters. And I believe there’s nothing wrong with making an honest living while serving others.

So here’s to showing up, having more conversations, helping more people, and fully embracing the work I’m called to do. 🥂
