Here’s a look at one of the new common areas that will serve as a comfortable place for residents to relax, visit with family and spend time together. It’s exciting to see these spaces come together as we get closer to welcoming more residents into the new wing.

We currently have a few rooms still available in the expansion for anyone who may be exploring assisted living options.

Medicare Part A – Hospital Insurance
Part A helps pay for care received during hospital stays, skilled nursing facility care, hospice services, and certain home health services.

Medicare Part B – Medical Insurance
Part B helps cover routine and outpatient medical services. This includes doctor appointments, outpatient treatments, lab work, X-rays, preventive services, and some medical equipment.
Unlike Part A, Part B requires a monthly premium and includes an annual deductible.

(Together, Medicare Parts A and B are referred to as Original Medicare.)

Medicare Part C – Medicare Advantage Plans
Medicare Advantage plans are offered through private insurance companies approved by Medicare. These plans provide the same basic coverage as Original Medicare but may also include additional benefits such as dental, vision, hearing, and sometimes prescription drug coverage.

Medicare Part D – Prescription Drug Coverage
Part D helps pay for prescription medications. These plans are provided by private insurance companies and can either be included in a Medicare Advantage plan or purchased separately to work alongside Original Medicare.

The first 14 days after discharge are often the most critical for recovery. Consistency during this window reinforces stability at home.

A safe transition home is critical to recovery.

Our 𝐑𝐞𝐡𝐚𝐛-𝐭𝐨-𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 supports individuals post-discharge with personalized caregiving, medication reminders, meal support, and coordination with trusted therapy partners providing Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy.

The goal: reduce readmissions, improve safety, and support a smoother recovery at home.

With temperatures dropping, now is the time to help our aging loved ones get winter-ready. A few simple steps can keep them safe and comfortable all season long.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗶𝗽𝘀:
• Ensure heating systems are working properly and safely

• Keep ice melt and shovels easily accessible

• Check lighting around entryways and stairs

• Have warm layers and weather-appropriate footwear ready

• Stock up on pantry staples to limit icy-weather trips

• Review emergency contacts and post them in an easy-to-see spot
