Holy smokes you blink and just like that it’s been 4 YEARS! 🥳

sTRIve isn’t just a career, it is my passion. These lovely humans have been filling my life with inspiration, motivation, and community over these past 4 years. I wouldn’t be here without each of them and so many others 🙏🏻❤️

That moment when you realize you’ve SMASHED a 12-minute marathon PR in 2:44:07!!!

What everyone will see is the final time in the results, but I see so much more. I see the culmination of 3-years of Mike Scott’s unrelenting hard work, his commendable resiliency in the face of some dark moments, his strong desire to improve his weaknesses and push himself to the limit, the consistency of training this season, and the cherry on top to a season that has seen PRs at every distance.

Join me in congratulating Mike on a phenomenal race, big PR and 16th place overall finish! I am so proud of you 🤩👏🏻

I told Mike seeing the emotion in these photos gives me chills. Absolutely unreal!

These two sTRIve Shufflers strutted their stuff on the streets of Chicago last weekend 🍀

raced to a PR in the 8km distance in 35:20 (as well as PR’d his 5km through his split) even after having to hurdle a fallen competitor 😮🙌🏻 Impressive display of strength and resilience to come away with lifetime bests!
firefighter.runner kicked off his 2023 race season with a rock solid performance in 51:17 over the 8km. Rick accelerated throughout the race as he boasted gutsy negative splits and finished very strong! 💪🏻🤩

Looking forward to seeing these two continue to attack their goals this season. Stay tuned for what’s next! 🔥🔥🔥

The New York Half-Marathon was the spark to ignite a season of HOPE 😉, growth, and success in training and on the roads racing for 🧨🔥

After a hiatus from the longer distance races, Hope returned to the race course with a strong, speedy, negative-split, and very clearly FUN, effort of 2:04:15!!

What a way to jumpstart the season 🤩

Excited to see Hope encapsulate the fun and enjoyment she had from start to finish and let it ooze over into her training and next races this season. After all, that’s what it’s all about — Enjoying the journey!! 🙌🏻

Congrats to on a strong battle for a TOP 20 OVERALL finish at the DONNA Marathon this past Sunday‼️

What the results don’t show is the mental and physical fortitude it took Kyle to get to the start line… AND the finish line. He is a FIGHTER 😤

Couldn’t be more proud of Kyle as he’s truly embracing every step of this journey! This is just the start of what is to be a BIG 2023 for Kyle 🔜🏔️🏃🏻

🚨2:49:36 PR alert‼️

Massive congratulations to on his over 3-minute marathon PR! 🤩🔥🥳

Jekyll Island threw cold temps, wind, and sand-covered paths Jeff’s way, but there was NOTHING that was going to stop him from absolutely destroying the personal best he had set just three months ago in Chicago 🤯😮.

CONGRATULATIONS JEFF!!

“Oh wait, the feet go IN the shoes?”😜

For those of you looking to tackle a FLYING MOUNT in competition, here are a few words of wisdom:

⭐️ Use rubber bands to hold your shoes level on the bike.

⭐️ Put baby powder or Vaseline around the heel cup to make them easier to slide on.

⭐️ Open the strap as much as possible to create a larger opening for your foot.

⭐️ PATIENCE!!! Know the course. If your feet can’t slide directly into the shoe as you swing over your frame (I.e, shoe opening is too narrow for a swift easy entry point) it may be better to pick up some speed or maneuver around turns coming out of transition BEFORE slipping your feet into your shoes or adjusting the straps.

If done effectively the flying mount can save you valuable seconds in transition AND save you from sounding and feeling like you’re running with horseshoes on as you barrel your way toward the mount line 😉
