The Sankofa Drum Circle has become a vital space for healing and connection within our community. It offers a unique opportunity to slow down, breathe, and release stress through the power of rhythm. As the founder of CLAWW, I am passionate about ensuring this space remains accessible and culturally grounded for everyone who needs it. Your support can help us keep this healing tradition alive and thriving. Please like, comment, and share this post to help us reach more people who can benefit from the Sankofa Drum Circle. Together, we can continue to build a stronger, healthier community.

Join us for a beautiful community celebration of KWANZAA on Tuesday December 30, 2025 from 5pm to 8pm at the African American Center of Wisconsin! This free family event will teach you how to celebrate Kwanzaa at home while enjoying an evening of joy, culture, entertainment, food, and local vendors.
We are excited to host this event in partnership with Fathers Making Progress and the Sankofa Council of Milwaukee, coming together to honor tradition, unity, and community purpose.
We will be celebrating Nia, the fifth principle of Kwanzaa, which reminds us of our purpose as individuals and as a community. Bring the whole family and come experience something meaningful and uplifting.
Vendor spots are available. If you or someone you know would like to be a vendor, contact Heddy Keith at 414 792 0918.
We hope to see you there!
