We had a fantastic turnout despite the terrible weather, which just goes to show how much our members love their bees (and delicious food!).
A special thank you to our wonderful Master Gardener Larry Busbee for sharing valuable information about maintaining healthy lawns and landscapes.
We would like to welcome Buck Brigano as our new treasure. Thank you for all that you have already done for our Association and for bringing the beautiful plants last night. 💰🍃

These two days are packed with education, and we’re lucky that it’s only about 2½ hours away! Melissa and Lisa attend every year in Gainesville and are excited that this year’s event is much closer to home. We can’t wait to learn, connect, and bring back valuable knowledge to share with our members.

Summer 2026 UF/IFAS Bee College
Registration is now open for Summer 2026 UF/IFAS Bee College, taking place August 14–15, 2026, in Bristol, Florida!
Bee College is a two-day educational event designed for beekeepers of all experience levels. Whether you are just getting started or have been keeping bees for years, this event will include opportunities to learn from experts, ask questions, and connect with others in the beekeeping community.
Join the UF/IFAS Honey Bee Research and Extension Laboratory for a weekend full of honey bee education, hands-on learning, and practical information you can take back to your own apiary.
