Central Summer AI & Engineering Camp is in full swing!
Our talented students are designing and building their own robotic cars while learning how to code the programs that control them. Through creativity, problem-solving, and hands-on engineering, they are bringing their ideas to life one line of code at a time.
The excitement will culminate in an obstacle course race where students will test their robotic car designs, troubleshoot challenges, and see whose creation can successfully navigate the course!
We're proud of the innovation, teamwork, and perseverance these future engineers are demonstrating every day. Stay tuned for race day results!

Today’s tool: CAD Software (Computer-Aided Design)
CAD software allows engineers, architects, and designers to create detailed digital models, blueprints, and prototypes before projects are ever built. From buildings and bridges to machines and product designs, CAD technology plays a major role in turning ideas into reality.
Students in Engineering, Drafting, and Design pathways learn how to use CAD software to develop technical drawings, solve design challenges, and create innovative solutions for real-world projects.
Hands-on experience with industry technology helps prepare students for future careers in engineering, architecture, manufacturing, and design.

🌟 Another Great Day at the Santa Rosa Center for Innovation! 🌟
Today, we had the pleasure of hosting students from both Gulf Breeze Elementary and Rhodes Elementary Community School Summer Camps for a fun-filled day of hands-on learning and exploration!
Students had the opportunity to dive into activities focused on engineering, coding, robotics, electrical technology, and construction while developing valuable skills like teamwork, creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Through these engaging experiences, campers were able to explore exciting career pathways and discover how innovation shapes the world around us.
We love opening our doors to young learners and helping spark curiosity about future opportunities. Today’s campers brought plenty of enthusiasm, energy, and great ideas, making for an incredible day at the Center for Innovation!
Thank you to the students and staff from Gulf Breeze Elementary and Rhodes Elementary for spending part of your summer with us. We hope you left inspired to keep exploring, creating, and dreaming big!
