Things I’ve learned over the past month about restoring a table. How applicable these lessons are to every day life!
1. Expect a mess. There’s no “keeping things contained.”
2. It’s a lot harder than it looks! Watching tutorials, reading about it, etc makes everything look easy. Actually doing it is the hard part.
3. Life happens and it may take longer than I like, but that’s ok. Obstacles are bound to happen. Take it in stride and keep on moving forward.
4. Follow God’s plan for you and you will succeed. Even if it looks different than YOUR plan for YOU.

Our purpose is to provide families in need with a table and the resources and tools necessary to organize and lead successful family dinners.
Research has proven that regular family dinners reduce rates of substance abuse, depression/suicide, violence, among other high-risk behaviors, in adolescents.
Our goal is to promote more face-to-face communication and less screen time by simply gathering around the family table.
