These are from September. Hard to believe it's December already (and that Pittsburgh has had so many sunny warm days, this of all years).
The unnamed menace and upheaval took a backseat for me in what has been a blurred year of obsession, long days, unsexy striving. I've tried to continue to intake the abundant beauty, joy, etc.- human condition stuff- around me but it's been hard feeling that I've had nothing of that sort to contribute to dear ones and daily existence. Everything I have has gone into Veldt. I hope it will have been worth it, that what I've made is good and useful and maybe even brings some of the joy and care I've mostly been too stressed to give. 🖤

What a year.

Thanks for sticking around through all the chaos, and in my case, all the quiet. Here's what I've been working on:

Veldt has been totally redesigned- blends perfected, production overhauled, all new labels by the endlessly talented Charlie Wagers, a website (eep!) boasting work from the lovely , sample sizes, and plans to ship to the lower 48 in time for holiday gifting. Phew.
