What an amazing day here at FamilyCuts, best yet is when I get to take care one of my favorite clients and friends!!! 😍🙏

We are excited to announce our fully COVID-19 vaccinated staffs. It’s our responsibility and ultimate goal to be vaccinated when vaccines available here in Marin. We feel very optimistic and confident to safely serve our clients. We are happy to be a part of a greater community wellness.

We are happy to announce that we are reopening as of Monday, 1/25/2021. To follow our mandated purple tier we are operating at 25% capacity. We are committed to maintaining a high level of cleanliness and great service as operations return to normal. We will continue to practice social distancing, and protocol for sanitizing and infecting throughout the day. Our staffs and guests are required to have face covering masks on at all time inside our salon. We encourage our guests to make appointment ahead and to send a text upon arrival for us to usher inside after premise is thoroughly cleaned. We are taking every preventative measure possible to protect our staffs and guests, and we appreciate your continued support.

This is Great news for FamilyCuts and Community!!!

Dear Mill Valley Friends and Family,

We are very excited and overjoyed to announce that FamilyCuts hair salon will be open and serving our Community once again, as of Monday, 6/29/2020.

As we adjust to our new scheduling and operational protocols that support recommendations by the CDC, we ask for your continued patience and understanding.

Here’s what you can expect from the FamilyCuts Staff during this transitional time;

Each of our Staff’s haircutting stations will be “socially distanced” at least 10 feet apart, per CDC recommendations.

2. Clients and Staff will be required to wear masks (cloth or surgical) while in the salon at all times.
We understand that you may be unable to wear a mask for a variety of reasons. Unfortunately, we can only accommodate those clients in the salon who are able to wear a mask at this time.
Please understand that there can be absolutely no exceptions.
Thank you for your understanding and helping us protect everybody’s health!

3. In order to accommodate those adults who are bringing in young children in for haircuts, we have designated our grouped chair waiting area as a “family waiting area”, (up to four people) in order to help with social distancing.
This family seating area, as with all of our seating, will be disinfected after each clients use. In addition, we have newly established handwashing and disinfecting protocols for our Staff, their haircutting tools, and stations, after each client has received service.

4. Upon arrival for your scheduled appointment, we ask that each client please check in with our receptionist, either by phone or in person.
Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate “walk-in” appointments at this time.
Prior to your scheduled appointment, we encourage our clients to wait in, or near their car, until ushered (or phone called/texted) inside the salon, once a cutting station is available and sanitized.

5. We will gather payment and future appointment information through as many contactless ways as possible.

6. We will be providing hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes to our clients at the salon, and we also encourage our clients to use their own, before and after service.

Once again, we appreciate your patience, understanding, and support in our efforts to protect your health, as well that of our Staff at FamilyCuts.

Hello Mill Valley!

We hope this note will find our families and community in good health and safety. We are currently temporary closed, and we look forward to reopen in early May. I will post as soon as we are allowed to safely open to serve our families and community with safety and good health in mind, and it will be our absolutely priority. We will continue to keep our salon sanitized and clean at all time, we will have mask and face shield for each stylist while serving client, we will have minimal number of stylists a day and at least 6 feet apart, we will have no more than 5 clients awaiting in waiting area 6 feet apart or per family waiting at a time, and we will make sure that station and tools will be sanitized after each service. We look forward to be serving our families and community again soon. Thank you and please take care, stay healthy and be safe. God Bless America and the world. 🇺🇸

On the behalf of FamilyCuts and our wonderful staffs We truly appreciate your caring and support. We are holding up well, we will be close to at lease 4/30/20 due to mandated shelter-in-place. It’s always an honor taking care my most favorite person, Wes Malone at FamilyCuts!!!
