“It’s okay to feel⁣⁣
more than one thing at once.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
In some moments,⁣⁣
you will feel tender⁣⁣
and in some moments,⁣⁣
you will feel strong.⁣⁣
And in every moment⁣⁣
there is grace,⁣⁣
and in this life,⁣⁣
you still belong.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
No matter what is missing⁣⁣
you are still becoming.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Let the flowers springing up⁣⁣
remind you:⁣⁣
you are still⁣⁣
blooming, too.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
And when you feel many things at once,⁣⁣
Light will continue to find you.”

A season for softening into new rituals. For noticing the beauty around us, in our spaces, in our gardens. For savoring the moments of pause that allow us to listen... to music we love, friends we miss, or the sounds of nature that seem all the more vibrant in recent days. The season of Ta**us, as Chani Nicholas says, “settles into the divine pleasure of rest and relaxation – not at the cost of honest work, but as a balance to it.” 🌙🎨🌸✨

Sneak peeks of this wise woman's new visual story. What a journey we’ve been on together, both personally and professionally. Gladys Ato Page is my guiding light and a soulful human I cherish deeply. I can’t wait for the world to experience what I’m weaving together for her brand. ✨

“I paint as a way of looking for myself in the world.” Words by , speaking a truth embodied by some of my favorite female artists. Life is truly more enriching when you pay attention to whose story you’re receiving, whose voice you’re hearing, and who your purchasing power is going toward. Support creative women. 👩🏾‍🎨🎨👊🏽

So grateful to have been part of the campaign with Kurandza, which raised funds to give school scholarships to more than 100 girls in Mozambique! Elisabetta Maria is the founder leading this movement and it's incredible to watch as her vision for making a genuine difference becomes reality.

An Artist is Making a Map of Manhattan Using Only Handwritten Directions From Strangers 08/14/2013

Every so often, I enjoy a silent retreat from the usual orchestra of scrolling and clicking. I stash everything that is digital. A ceremonious sit-down with the beat of my own heart and the a-u-m of nature's hums. Beauty is in the details they say, but even details are crammed with their own crowd. Beauty, I say, is in the simplicity of the detail.

Today I happened upon someone who'd agree.
