For Robinson helicopter owners and operators, the maintenance story is just as important as the flight story. By standardizing on Crewchief Systems, Robinson is giving its community a modern way to capture operations in real time, digitize every logbook entry, and correlate it with maintenance and regulatory data in one secure environment.
That means fewer blind spots, proactive maintenance planning, and a verifiable record that strengthens safety, simplifies compliance, and preserves long-term aircraft value, exactly what Crewchief was built to deliver.

Robinson Helicopter Company has selected Crewchief Systems as the digital aircraft management and maintenance intelligence platform for its fleet, covering future R66 NxG and R88 helicopters, as well as legacy R22s, R44s, and trade‑in aircraft.
This announcement marks a major step away from paper logbooks and fragmented records toward a unified digital system that captures each helicopter’s complete operational and maintenance history for life.
With real-time insight into trends, inspection intervals, airworthiness directives, and service bulletin compliance, Crewchief gives Robinson operators the intelligence they need to stay ahead of the maintenance curve, strengthen safety and compliance, and protect long-term asset value.

Tell us you are a pilot without telling us you are a pilot. Bonus points if it involves fuel caps or sectional charts in strange places.

We are bringing a much-needed upgrade to aviation recordkeeping—think of it as a digital “medical record” for your aircraft, or a Carfax built specifically for airplanes. Instead of flipping through decades of paper logs, owners, buyers, and mechanics can instantly search a complete, organized maintenance history and see ADs or service bulletins in seconds. It’s all about making aircraft ownership easier, more transparent, and far more efficient for everyone involved.

Electronic Medical Records Meet Carfax for Airplanes The same goes for buying a used aircraft, except the problems are usually significantly more expensive to fix.

This week marks a remarkable milestone in aviation history — the 80th anniversary of the first-ever jet takeoff and landing from an aircraft carrier, achieved by the legendary de Havilland DH 100 Sea Vampire.
On December 3, 1945, Royal Navy test pilot Eric “Winkle” Brown made history aboard HMS Ocean when he successfully flew the Sea Vampire from the carrier’s deck. This pioneering moment proved that jet-powered aircraft could operate safely and reliably at sea, forever changing the future of naval aviation.
The Sea Vampire, a navalized version of the iconic Vampire, played a crucial role in advancing early jet technology. Its compact design, tricycle landing gear, and wooden fuselage construction made it uniquely suited for experimental carrier operations during the dawn of the jet age.
