It’s bittersweet, but the time has come… I am going to start working full time on my digital marketing agency, .co.

I love all my lash clients which is why I have been working hard to train Morgan Benfield Beauty] so she may retain some of those clients who want to keep coming back to Image Beauty Hair Design.

But, at the end of the day, I’ll miss you all! You don’t know what a tremendously positive impact you’ve had on my life. When I was going through a hard time, you all gave me a helpful, outside perspective I’m grateful for.

I am excited about new opportunities arising with Promoticon, but I hope to cross paths with you all, soon!

True story: I saw this picture of a client of mine today and said, “Wow, those are really nice strip lashes!”

She looked at me like I was crazy and said, “Girl, you did those!”

Me: “Wow!! I did a really good job!!” 😂

It was nice to be impressed by my own work today. ☺️ hehe

As a lash artist, there are certain essential, QUALITY materials you should be using. ⬇️

1) Primer. Every lash look, whether it’s a full set or a fill, needs primer applied at the beginning. Primer not only cleans clients’ lashes, ridding the surface of mascara or oils, but it also dries the lashes so the glue sticks to the lashes’ surface easier.
2) A quality glue. The most important material to ensure lash retention and client satisfaction is great glue. If you are using cheap, low quality glue, your clients may experience more irritation and much shorter retention.
3) Bonder! This is a newer addition to my “lash arsenal,” but it has proven itself to be essential. Bonder helps reduce clients’ irritation to the glue because it cures the glue nearly instantaneously. Not only does that reduce fumes from the lash glue, but it also strengths the glue’s bond to the lashes.

Lash Razing has changed, and with those changes, I’ve decided to raise prices. 💵

I’ve based Lash Razing out of Image Beauty Hair Design Salon now for 3+ months. With this time has come some important changes:

1) My skill level as a lash artist has improved 💪🏼
2) Client base has expanded 📈
3) Material costs have increased 💸

1) Because I am always striving to be the best lash artist I can be, my skill level has increased a great deal in the past few months (you can tell even from this Instagram page).

2) I have brought on and maintained a steady, wonderful client base that I love. ❤️ Because of my current clients, I don’t have the need to be as aggressive in enticing new clients into the business through price cuts. I am more content to let the business grow organically at this time.

3) I always seek to improve, so I buy more tools, materials, and accessories for my lash clients than ever before. The glue alone is $45 a bottle, but now I am purchasing bonding agents, special mirrors, tweezers, primers, etc. to provide my clients with the best retention possible.
