Starting Wednesday, July 1 and recurring weekly, you can join us for tiles of fun!

This month's Engineering Club astounded us once again by building a cardboard dinosaur! The Dino's name is Rexy by the way, and she is on display in the children's area for all to see!
We saw amazing teamwork, and incredible creativity in their personal take home dinos too!

This week our Baby Move & Groove Class: Morning Edition took place with the cutest little grooving guys!
We have another coming up soon on Tuesday June 23rd this time in the AFTERNOON! See us from 1:30- 3pm.
This class is a great opportunity for kids ages 0-2 to play, tumble, learn, share, and so much more at the library! Caregivers even find new friends and resources while visiting the class.

We have a new program happening this summer called Summer Scientists, ideal for ages 6-8.
This month these curious kiddos got to see some of the coolest fossils this library has ever seen! Thank you Rob from the Merrill W. Linn Land & Waterways Conservancy for joining us and bringing the fossils! These kids were so curious and they could not wait to smash some rocks to find their own fossils.
Our next Summer Scientists event is July 7 from 4-530pm at the Herr Memorial Library.
For older kids who are also fascinated by science and want to take part in more activities like this check out our Engineering Club, for ages 8-12, and Teen Lunch Bunch for ages 12-18

Teen Lunch Bunch this week had a Zoo Scientist visit with his bearded dragon!
They learned about the care of lizards, and career opportunities in that field.

We had some roaring good fun with all the patrons that helped us make hats, play games, and eat Dirt Pudding. YUM! We can't wait to see what else this summer brings, you never know what you're unearth a the library.
