Wishing a happy retirement to our legendary Head Librarian, Melissa Huffman! After 31+ years at Rose State, she is retiring from Rose leaving behind an incredible legacy of librarianship and service to our community. Melissa will be missed around campus, but we are so happy she’ll get to enjoy time for travel, sewing, singing in her church choir, and many of her other hobbies!

Terrence Lipscomb just completed his first semester at Rose State College. He says “my blessing was the library.” From study rooms, Special Services, and the Tutoring Center, Terrence utilized the vast array of resources located in the LRC. “The experience was awesome! It was a big step for me, so I encourage you; if this is your first time going to college, I suggest the library be your first stop when you arrive!”

Today is our namesake's birthday! Did you know our college was named in memory of a well-known educator and former superintendent of Mid-Del Schools?
