Our basement flooded!

Like there’s water everywhere!

It’s late at night. Water’s coming into our window well. I’m in my garments trying to figure out what’s going on.

Lexi was a genuine superstar! Within minutes she had multiple people over helping.

Our friends helped us remove the water, cut up and remove carpet and pad. Wow what a relief.

Within 12-15 hours we had a restoration company here and carpet being coordinated.

Give us a week and it will be like new!

I’ve learned that you can laugh or cry when stuff like this happens. Lexi and I elected to laugh 😂

It’s the real deal

New FinCEN real estate rule starting March 1

Certain real estate transactions now require the title company to report buyer information to FinCEN (Financial Crimes Enforcement Network).

This rule is designed to prevent money laundering and fraud, especially in transactions involving cash, trusts, LLCs, or entities.

👉 Buyers may need to provide:
�• Legal name�• Address�• ID info�• Entity ownership details (if applicable)

❗ This does NOT:�• Change your loan�• Change your contract�• Add new taxes

The title company handles the reporting — it’s mostly an extra verification step.
