Bre McCallum Hand Lettering

Hi friends! My creative self is finally coming up for air after adding a new tiny, squishy person to our family last year! I’m excited to return to sharing on IG to share some things I made from this year’s Annual Craft Lake City LetterWest conference!

It was my first big grown up activity in the last year and it was so fun and inspirational. I loved catching up with creative friends and learning from some incredibly talented artists and designers.

I was so inspired and left feeling overwhelmed with new ideas and projects to make. Thank you to Craft Lake City for putting on this super fun conference and bringing so many amazing people together!! I’m already looking forward to next year. ☺️

Baby Cade is actually 8 weeks old today and coming up on two full months, but I wanted to share this cute hand lettering for his one-month milestone!

We're slowly figuring out our routine and getting in a groove as a family of four! (plus a sweet great dane of course ❤️)

I drew all these little summer illustrations last year, and never got around to sharing them because I wasn't crazy about the colors.

This year, I went back and updated the colors with the new palette I've been using, and I really fell in love with all of them! I've got a few other patterns from this set to share in the future.

Also, the flamingo pool floatie is my favorite. 🦩

It's been a while since I've shared on IG, but for a good reason!

At the beginning of July, we welcomed our new baby, Cade, to the family! We're already so in love with him, and Griffin is especially obsessed (as you can see in the last photo 😂). He's super sweet and mellow, already has a preference for being outside, and sleeps so well! Holding my breath for that to continue in the future!

Sharing another fun floral pattern from my set of easter illustrations today. I loved how the color variations came together on this one!

Lettering and flowers seem to be my theme lately, so here's another summery lettering piece!

I made this cute little duck pattern around Easter time and never got around to posting it! I thought these would be super cute for a little girl's clothing pattern and I'm hoping to share more patterns from the illustrations I made around that time!

I haven't been feeling super inspired to draw new things lately, so I'm visiting some older things and giving them some updates.

This is from a sketch I created all the way back in 2022 when I still wasn't really into adding color to things. It's really fun to revisit an older illustration and update it to make it into something new or more official!

Finally back after another unintentional break from sharing! These little flowers came from the same illustrations used to create the last green floral pattern I shared. I had fun playing with some different textured brushes in Procreate!

Sneaking in this May illustration before the end of the month! This one started as a sketch I did a few years ago, and I finally added color and polished it up.

I'm working on a seamless pattern made up of these florals, but it's definitely going to be more complicated than my usual pattern designs.

Back after a break from sharing with some fun spring florals! I haven't had much time or energy lately to draw new things, but I've got a little queue of pieces to share, including a few spring illustrations and patterns!

Happy May friends! I can't believe it's already almost summer time! All this spring weather has been wonderful and we're gearing up for another camping trip in a couple of weeks. We can't wait for a weekend of camping, biking and outside time in Colorado!
