Midlothian Economic Development (MED) is a voter-approved Type A nonprofit corporation established in 1999.
We use sales tax dollars to support primary job creation, workforce training, and infrastructure improvements that strengthen Midlothian’s economy. Midlothian Economic Development is a nonprofit industrial development corporation with the purpose of promoting economic development – increasing the wealth of stakeholders within the City of Midlothian. Our Fundamentals of Business course is designed to help business owners step out of the day-to-day and take intentional time to rethink how their business is operating. It’s a chance to slow down, zoom out, and focus on areas that often get overlooked during daily operations.
This is a free program for operational Midlothian businesses focused on strengthening fundamentals, improving strategy, and supporting long-term growth. The course includes online learning paired with in-person peer discussions with other local business owners.
