HAPPY CHANUKAH!
Did you know that Chanukah has been around centuries longer than Christmas? It is a rememberance of G-ds faithfulness and deliverence during the Macabeean Revolt of 163 B.C. In fact Jesus attended Chanukah celebrations or the Feast of Dedication at the Temple in Jerusalem around 30 A.D.

"For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” Matthew 18:20

Mal 4:5-6 "LOOK I am sending you Elijah the prophet...he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the children to the fathers or I will come and strike the land with a CURSE!"

Job 23:8-10 "But if I go to the east, he is not there; if I go to the west, I do not find him. When he is at work in the north, I do not see him; when he turns to the south, I catch no glimpse of him. But he knows the way that I take; when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold.

Job 19:25-27 I know that my Redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand upon the earth. And after my skin has been destroyed, yet in my flesh I will see God; I myself will see him with my own eyes--I, and not another. How my heart yearns within me!

God, I'm overwhelmed. My heart is breaking and I just feel lost. I can't hear you. I can't feel you. Are you there? Do you hear me? The enemy is closing in and if you don't intervene I'm lost.... We all face suffering. We all feel overwhelmed. Like Job let me chose to trust in the only one who is unchanging and unfailing.

"IF my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and turn from their wicked ways and seek my face then I WILL hear from Heaven and forgive their sin and I WILL HEAL THEIR LAND" YHVH

We come into this world crying while everyone around us is smiling. LIVE so that leaving this world the opposite is true.

1Ti 1:7 'For G-d has not given us a Spirit of fear but of Power and of Love and of a sound mind.' If fear has crept into your life you can be sure that it isnt G-ds plan for you to keep it. Be free of it! Perfect Love drives out fear. The price has already been paid.

1Jn 4:18'Perfect Love drives out fear...' We might think that the opposite of Love is hate but John tells us that it is acctually fear. Fear can have a paralyzing effect and inhibit our ability to exercise Faith. Without fear we are able to follow G-d's lead free of hesitation. Has the Deciever placed fear in your life today?

"Fear Not" ... Did you know that is one of the most common phrases in the Bible? 365 times G-d tells us to 'fear not'. One for every day of the year! What are you faceing today? Have you used your 'fear not'. There's one available. You've got the biggest kid on the block in your corner!
