By adding a layer of mulch to your yard or garden, you’re helping:

🐦🌿 Did you know not every bird at your feeder wants sunflower seeds?
The feeder you choose, the seed you use, and even how high you hang it all affect which birds will visit—and which ones will fly right past.
Every species has its own habits:
• A titmouse grabs a seed and flies off to crack it open
• A chickadee hides food for later
• A blue jay plants acorns—helping grow future oak trees 🌳
And some birds your feeder might be missing:
• Mourning doves & juncos prefer the ground—scatter millet and watch them appear
• Goldfinches love nyjer seed in tube feeders with small ports
• Hummingbirds need fresh sugar water (4:1 ratio, no red dye, changed every 2–3 days)
✨ Match the food to the bird, and your backyard can change overnight!
