Young Eagles Rally at MAF on 4/1/2023. Three pilots flew 23 kids and seven ride-along parents. Thanks to CAF High Sky Wing for inviting us to your event. Big thanks to our pilots & ground volunteers!

Our latest Young Eagles rally (10/8) was a success, with 20 Young Eagles and nine ride-along parents flown! A big thanks to our pilots, ground volunteers, and Midland Airpark/Floris Flight Services for hosting our event.
Chapter meeting postponed to 9/17 due to AIRSHO in Midland.

The City of Midland is hosting a community event at Airpark on Saturday, August 27th, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. In an attempt to create an interest in aviation, there are many fun and informative events planned for the citizens of Midland. There will be a display of classic cars and we would love to display a variety of aircraft also. If you are interested in participating in this event by having your aircraft on static display, please let me know and we will coordinate the best place for you to park.
Chapter meeting this Saturday, May 14, at Floris Flight Services LLC, Midland Airpark at 9:00 am. Weather permitting we'll do a fly-out afterwards. Please join us.

We had an excellent Young Eagles rally at Midland Airpark today. Over 40 people got to fly (including 28 Young Eagles). Thanks again to Floris Flight Services for letting us use their facility. The weather was great and we had eight volunteer pilots and at least seven ground volunteers, which made the event run smoothly. Come join us at our upcoming “Flying Start” learn-to-fly event (flyingstart.org) on May 21 and/or our next Young Eagles rally on June 18 (yeday.org)!
