Picasso Marble is a metamorphic limestone shaped by heat, pressure, and mineral alteration over time, creating the dramatic, brushstroke like veining that gave this stone its name. Every line, fracture, and shift in color tells part of the geologic story.

Ben picked up this rough material in Milford, Utah, curious to work with a softer lapidary stone and see what it could become. For this one, he selected a section with minimal browns, letting the charcoal and slate-gray veining create a cleaner, more classical look.
