On our recent trip to Ukraine, we met children living in a reality shaped by war and uncertainty.

Yet we also witnessed something else: resilience, hope, and a desire to simply be what they are, children.

Who's Behind Novi? 👀

Just a second ago, this table was empty.
Then teams from Ukraine, Norway, and the United States came together. To talk, plan, laugh, and build something meaningful for children and communities.

And this is only the beginning.

In the coming videos, we'll share highlights from our week together: meetings, work discussions, new ideas, and the moments that never make it into reports.

One night in Kyiv.

Just after midnight, the air raid siren sounded, and the Novi team had to seek shelter in the hotel's bomb shelter.

A few hours later, the city woke up and life carried on.

For us, it was one night. For millions of families living with war and conflict, this is their reality, night after night.

For children, the impact goes far beyond the sirens and the shelters. It lives on inside them as anxiety, fear, uncertainty, and the loss of safety that every child deserves.
