Kristen, pictured at far right, teamed up with Alex Civorelli, Kate Eicher, and Alex Giresi to create Readers: Better Together, a project focused on making reading more interactive, social, and engaging for readers of all ages.

The New York State Senate's 2026 Summer Reading Program, themed Unearth A Story, encourages children of all ages to read, explore, and learn throughout the summer.
Students who complete the program and submit their reading form by August 21, 2026 will receive an official Summer Reading Certificate recognizing their achievement.
This free program helps promote literacy, prevent summer learning loss, and foster a lifelong love of reading.

RCLS is partnering with The Tempestry Project to create a traveling exhibit showing how climate change has impacted our region using real temperature data from Liberty, NY.
Purchase a kit, knit a tapestry, and return it to your home library to become part of the permanent RCLS collection. The goal is 100 tapestries! Meet Olga from Liberty Public Library proudly showing off her beautiful creation.
Please note: completed tapestries will become part of the permanent exhibit and will not be returned. Some knitting experience is recommended.
