After finally attending the Chelsea Flower Show, we’re bringing the perfect pruning technique back to the states for you: introducing the Chelsea Chop! ✂️
This technique is great for shaping tall, floppy plants to grow stronger and more voluminous. Plus, flowers will last way longer than their designated bloom time! 🌸

The Chelsea neighborhood in London goes all out to welcome the Royal Horticultural Society with . Most storefronts along King’s Road and Sloane Square are decorated in full spring bloom finery. 💐 Can you identify the artificial flowers/plants in the mix? 👀

Our founder, Edamarie, is making her way through more gardens in England! 🇬🇧 This time, it’s the Oxford Botanic Gardens… here’s our latest nuggets of discovery and wisdom:
🌿 You only need a little structure to calm the chaos
⛲ Interrupt the runway to the door - it’s not a freeway
🌾 Maybe mow just the edge once in a while??

Backyard Bounty’s founder, Edamarie, made her first visit to the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew, one of the world’s great temples to gardening! 🇬🇧
Some of the cool stuff she saw there:
🪵 Natural material waddle fencing
“Dead hedges” as garden borders repurposing materials
🌳 Unobtrusive fruit cages at the right height to walk into
🪨 Using rocks in dry shade
🌿 Fabulous long border garden
We can’t wait to bring some of these ideas back across the pond for our clients! 😍
