Good morning All you vintage tool users and collectors! ToolmanDE here. I just want to thank all of you who are following my posts. As of today I have 137 followers and have over 7K views. I am grateful to each and everyone of you. Well, the sun is shining and it’s time to start packing up my vintage tools for the WTCA Tool Show in Damascus, MD on Friday.

Great news from TOOLMANDE! I now have a booth at Shop, Booth 808-01, located at 114 Sand Hill Drive, Middletown, DE. They are open Tuesday through Sunday. Hope to meet vintage tool users and collectors there. Much appreciated.

Good morning vintage tool users and collectors. I haven’t posted in a while. For those of you who follow my posts have seen restoration photos of the vintage tools I have restored the past couple of months. I got a little jealous seeing posts of some really nice vintage tool buys. Then I got two messages from tool collectors who were looking to sell their collections. Opportunities I couldn’t pass up. Last Thursday I headed to Pittsburgh and bought a partial collection. Friday I headed up to the Detroit area and bought another partial collection. I got home Saturday and started logging in the tools. It turned out to be a very good two days of buying. Time to get back to the restoration process. I have attached photos. I did take the time to for some restoration/cleaning of a couple Stanley No. 7 planes. Good before and after photos. Hope you enjoy them. Your feedback is welcome. These Stanley planes are for sale. Just finished cleaning another 60 planes and block planes. I start tomorrow on lot 3. These planes have been accumulated through buying collections and weekly efforts finding opportunities.

I came across these three vintage Stanley No. 81 scrapers on FBMP this past week. Similar to my other Stanley No. 81’s except for the red handles. Always enjoy seeing something i haven’t seen before. I’m going to clean them up a little today. See photos.
