This week, Ohio Laborers Training center, with instructor Scott, who was amazing, taught Asbestos Abatement . Thank you for coming and congratulations to the laborers who took advantage of this opportunity to grow their skills and experience!

Yesterday, Brian Kuhbander, showed his support at the Ohio Joint Data Center Committee Hearing at the Ohio State Capitol in Columbus! Clint Powell gave a powerful presentation, and testified on behalf of our membership.

If any members are interested in taking Asbestos Abatement class AT the Hall NEXT WEEK Monday -Thursday 8-430 please respond below or call Heather! This class is an excellent opportunity to build your skills and be more experienced and more employable!

Laborers Local 534 offers our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Brother Clifford Cassidy, who sadly passed away on May 17. Clifford was a proud Union man, who retired in 2013. He spent his last working years at Brandenburg Industrial and worked many years at Thermal Solutions, Midway, and Graycor. Please contact Billie Ryan for information regarding funeral arrangements.

ATTENTION MEMBERS : This month we will be having our FINAL classes being offered AT THE HALL this season for those wanting trained for heavy highway jobs.

The first class coming NEXT WEEK is Solar Farm Construction APRIL 13-15

Then on APRIL 20-22 we have Grade Laser training ( ONLY AVAILABLE FOR THOSE WHO HAVE TAKEN A1 instruments and leveling) IF you have A1, make sure you take this!

Finally, On SATURDAY APRIL 25 is STP Part 1 and SATURDAY MAY 2 is STP Part 2. MUST ATTEND BOTH CLASSES TO GET CREDIT! This class is filling up fast!
