Hubby Jenkins treated us to an evening of awe and joy last night. His first set was a single, nonstop, 45-minute medley of virtuosity as he seamlessly transitioned from one musical genre to another. Roots, blues, spirituals, classical, and a tuning change with vocals in the middle of all that. His 2nd set was a musical conversation with the audience, with question and answer (any questions at all), a sing along, and the audience deciding which instrument he would play next. These pictures capture Hubby’s joy doing what he does. A joy that was felt throughout the audience all night. Thank you Hubby.
