I have maintained my current pricing since 2006 without an increase. Unfortunately, TRUMP's 2024 re-election has forced an update. Beginning January 1, 2025, testing services will increase by $10 per device.

Spent Saturday replacing two backflow devices that weren't winterized properly last year and failed their annual tests. We installed two new Wilkins 375's so the next winterization will be easier. You MUST prep your backflow device for Winter or pay the high price of a replacement in the Spring.

It's finally Spring and irrigation systems are starting to come back online. Two things to remember when you call us for a backflow test appointment:
1). Make sure the irrigation system has been reactivated FIRST.
2). No need to call months in advance for an appointment. We can usually schedule tests within 1 week.

And here it is November 1st already. The busy backflow season is coming to an end. Please be aware that we do NOT winterize irrigation systems. If you need that service, please call our office and we may be able to recommend someone. See you all in the Spring!

It's finally Spring! Some of you may have already started getting test notices from the Health Depts for irrigation backflows. Keep in mind that tests can NOT be performed until after irrigation system has been reactivated. No water, No test. Please call for a test appointment AFTER irrigation system has been activated for summer.

Just when you think you've seen it all, they come out with something new. Tested a new 8" Ames Deringer20 Double Check (ASSE 1015) for a fire line in Franklin. They may look different, but they all test the same.

Got called out to a vacant retail space in a strip mall. Customer said backflow device was leaking. The 3/4" Watts 919 turned out to be 14' up in the ceiling. AS USUAL the relief valve diaphragm had become de-laminated. This is a VERY common failure mode on a 919. Not a difficult repair, if you know what to look for, except for device location.
