I need to express my deep gratitude to all those who were involved in our campaign: First my wife Betty, who sacrificed energy, emotion, time and vacation to track finances, create literature and so much more. My campaign team who managed, cut turf, strategized, ran data, advised, targeted, and met week after week to keep everything (and me) on track. Volunteers who walked door-to-door, organized events, called, edited, took pictures, gave time and energy and provided much needed emotional support. The thousands who voted for me and more who considered it! Finally, the donors who provided the resources that allowed us to send out thousands of targeted postcards, targeted digital ads and more. District 10 now knows that things can be different, and I am grateful beyond words!

That moment when you learn the person you are canvassing to get out the vote is making calls to get out the vote…for you!

With great power comes great responsibility.

The sun has set the night before the election. Tuesday it is up to you. Our Idaho way of life, and in some ways the way we will be as a nation are in front of us. Will we continue to be loyal neigbors, coming together to build, do business and recreate together despite differences? Will we honor one another’s pastimes, faiths, freedoms, races, orientations, choices, ways of being? Elections choose leaders who can help or hinder that. But we have another election we make every day. Let's choose (however imperfectly) to be good neighbors and to be good to our neighbors. Because that's Idaho way.

Tomorrow is the day, folks. I hope I can count on your vote.

My opponent is endorsed by Idaho Freedom PAC and its affiliates. Their toxic dialog and political smear tactics are preventing solutions to the real problems that our state faces. She votes their extremist views 98% of the time.
