✂️ Move the paper, not your arm

It might feel small, but learning how to glide the paper through your scissors gives you so much more control — and helps you avoid the dreaded “chicken arm.” 😉

I wear this little scissors necklace as a quiet reminder.

That creating is an act of transformation.

A piece of paper doesn’t stay just paper once we cut into it.
A photo doesn’t stay just a photo once we give it a place.
A memory doesn’t stay tucked away once we begin to tell its story.

That’s what I love about working with my hands.

Simple things become meaningful things.
Ordinary moments become something we can hold.
Little pieces come together and become a story.

And sometimes, that transformation starts with one small cut.
