During our drive across the Midwest, we stopped to stay with friends on a buffalo farm outside Galena, Illinois. The skies felt endless, the land stretched farther than we could see and the buffalo roamed freely across the prairie.
Without our Jay Flight SLX 174BH, we never would have experienced the simple joy of waking up and living alongside these incredible animals.

If I could go back and start RV life all over again… I’d buy almost nothing. 😅
Seriously.
I’d spend a few trips getting to know our RV, learning our travel style, and figuring out what we actually needed before filling every cabinet with “must-have” gadgets.
Anyone else fall into the trap of buying all the RV things? 🙋♀️ Be honest!
Looking back, our Jayco really had everything we needed. Sure, we’ve found products along the way that we absolutely love, but we definitely over-purchased in the beginning.
The most important purchase you’ll ever make is choosing the right RV and the right floorplan for your family and the way you travel.
