Our Gym & Non-Profit Update: I Took A Chance. Mistakes Were Made.
Life is Full of Learning Opportunities
Hello Everyone,
First, I want to apologize that I have been, or seem to have been, off the radar for some time. To say the stress has been very real is a gigantic understatement.
The Gym
The unfortunate news is that I no longer own the gym located on Park Road Extension in Middlebury. We all worked very hard to make it work for the last year, but we simply could not get it off the ground successfully. The financial burden and stress it put on my family were simply too much.
For those of you who know me, you understand that I am a very impulsive person and tend to jump in with both feet. This project was simply too much for me and completely overwhelming.
Winter Warrior Clinic
I apologize to all of you for any inconvenience this may have caused.
For those of you that have been involved in the Winter Warrior Strengthening Clinic, I am working on a place for the clinic to continue it’s work. If that becomes impossible, a refund will be given.
The Non-Profit: P4P
When I initially envisioned the development and organization of the non-profit, a gym was never in that picture. As much as I believe it could be a benefit, in hindsight, it worked as a distraction for those youth in the program. That said, the non-profit will definitely stay alive, but it will be completely revamped and restructured in 2024. Please stay tuned and continue to support us.
As with all decisions and projects I take on, I fully take responsibility for the mistakes that I made in 2023. But I will grow from them, learn from them, and become better because of them.

To squeeze in some exercise while at work, Chris Marciano recommends incorporating short bursts of physical activity throughout the day. Here are three quick exercises that can be done discreetly in the office:
Desk Exercises:
Try seated leg lifts by straightening your legs and lifting them a few inches off the ground. Hold for a few seconds and then lower them back down.
Engage your core with seated twists. Sit up straight, place your hands on the edge of your chair, and rotate your torso from side to side.
Tone your arms by doing desk push-ups. Stand a few feet away from your desk, place your hands on the edge, and lower your chest toward the desk.
Stair Climbing:
If your workplace has stairs, take advantage of them. Use your break time to climb a few flights of stairs. It's a great way to get your heart rate up and engage your leg muscles.
Walking Meetings:
Suggest a walking meeting with colleagues instead of sitting in a conference room. It not only adds steps to your day but also provides a refreshing change of scenery.
Remember, even small bouts of physical activity can add up throughout the day and contribute to your overall well-being.

1. Opt for a hearty bowl of oatmeal topped with fresh berries and a sprinkle of nuts for a fiber-packed and nutrient-rich breakfast.
2. Enjoy a protein-packed smoothie with Greek yogurt, spinach, and a banana for a quick and delicious morning boost.
3. Scramble eggs with veggies like peppers and spinach for a protein-rich and satisfying breakfast that will keep you fueled throughout the day.
