Since the launch, it’s been back-to-back on these. After spending a week or so on the bike, we can confidently say the SL9 rides differently. The word that comes to mind… snappy. Full thumbs up from us. Specialized Bicycle Components

Build #9 took a different approach. The goal was simple: weight. We got it down to 13.1 lbs using some seriously cool bits from alpitude.cc, SCHMOLKE CARBON, BJŌRN | bicycle saddles & components & THM bike.

Finished this Y1RS for Hugo Dominguez. 🔥 This one is an absolute banger and black has officially become our favorite colorway for this bike.

Built with some seriously cool bits from Carbon-Ti, Better Bolts, FRAMESANDGEAR® Computer Mounts, Direct Mounts & Composites, alpitude.cc, ENVE Composites & Cybrei. Final weight? 16 lbs.

Gotta admit, sitting in the box this SL9 Team Replica frameset was… a lot. That’s a whole lot of colors y’all.

Once built tho… we’ll gladly take that back. This thing came together very nice.

We paired it with SRAM Red E1, Roval Components and a few CeramicSpeed goodies. Everything else stayed black so the frame could do all the talking.

Love how this build came together. The subtle details, the matching ENVE Composites logos and just the right amount of stealth. Heads up… Carbon-Ti components will be hitting the shelves at Brickell Bikes soon. 🫠

Wild that this SL9 is a 56cm and still comes in at 15lbs. After putting it together, we really like what we see with the new improvements to this platform. The paint job on this team bike is wild and the ghost lettering under the clear coat. 🔥

Finally, the in house Epic 9 is complete. AKA my bike. 🙃

It sat in a box for quite some time before it even hit the stand. Once it was out, we hit the mood board and Shimano MTB XTR stood out because why not be different.

To get the SRAM MTB Flight Attendant going, we paired everything up with a Quarq PM + XX carbon crank arms. Worked like a charm. The new XTR 4-piston brakes look killer and the SILCA Ti hanger looks 🤌🏻.

23 lbs later, thanks to the Roval Components World Cup wheels. Now the fun part is getting used to this absoluteBLACK 36t and the 9-45 cassette. 🫠
