What the fitness industry won’t tell you before you start 👇
1. Your first workouts feel like hell — and that’s expected.
Doesn’t matter if you go easy or hard. When you’re deconditioned, it all feels the same. Your body is building a buffer to the acid your muscles produce. Give it two weeks. After that window, then start pushing harder.
2. Switching to whole foods is a mental battle as much as a physical one.
Processed food is engineered to taste amazing. Whole food isn’t. There’s an adjustment period — and during it, you’ll feel lost, like you gave up a piece of your identity. Push through it. Eventually, the foods you used to crave won’t even hit the same way.
3. Not everyone clapping for you is clapping for you.
Some people will throw you sideways compliments. Recognize them, smile, and keep going.
These things will come for you. The people who make it are simply the ones who expected them.

It’s been 18 years and I still experience Gender Euphoria and have absolutely no regrets. The journey isn’t physical at this point & to still be experiencing these moments like this. I don’t think lil me could of imagined my life now but I think he would proud.
Hey man… this wasn’t always like this.
There was a point where I didn’t feel like myself at all.
My health was off… my body changed… and yeah, it got away from me a bit.
I was still training, still showing up…
but I wasn’t getting the results I wanted.
And that messes with your head more than people realize.
So I had to take a step back and rebuild.
Not just physically… mentally too.
I had to put the muscle back on.
Get consistent again.
And stop treating myself like I was the problem.
That’s the part nobody talks about.
Fitness isn’t just about looking good—
it’s about what you do when things stop working.
So if you’re in that place right now… I get it.
You’re not broken.
You’re just rebuilding.”
2007… my first bodybuilding show.
I went all in.
Chicken, broccoli, tilapia, asparagus—every single day.
Coaches, structure, discipline… the whole lifestyle.
And yeah—I brought home trophies.
But lately?
I’ve been bored.
Not tired of training—
just tired of feeling like I’m doing the same thing over and over.
So I started switching it up.
Taking my workouts outside. Moving more. Breathing more.
And I didn’t expect this part…
It’s helped my anxiety more than anything I was doing before.
The gym builds your body—no question.
But this? This helps me stay grounded.
If you’ve been feeling stuck lately…
maybe it’s not you.
Maybe you just need a different environment.
You don’t hate the gym.
You hate how it made you feel.
Let’s change that.
You deserve strength.
You deserve space.
You deserve better.
