Seeing God work in my life and the lives of other people, He inspired me to share those stories. One is about our adopted son, Jamie, and him realizing he was different, but still loved. The other book, He Goes Before Us, when we as Billy Graham Rapid Response Chaplains, saw things while deployed to disasters, that only God could orchestrate. I felt the tug to write this book over two years ago...

Looking back I can truly say that my life has been a wild ride. Stay tuned for an upcoming BIG announcement soon! It's another blessing and challenge that God has given me! Oh my, can't wait to share!
However, if I was promised no tomorrows, I can say I have been truly, truly blessed. God has been so good to me with my family, my children, my church, my friends, and all of you out there in the social media world. But you know He gave me another day. I woke up again this morning and I'll look ahead to the weekend and wonder just what adventures He has in store for me. I pray He guides my steps as He does yours, and that we can walk in His way, that He will be glorified with each step of the day. We never know what tomorrow is going to bring for us but I do know that we can live each day to its fullest. Because we have the promise and the hope that only Jesus can give us, as we traveled on this Earth that He will be with us and that we have the hope and promise of eternity in heaven when our days are ended. Shine bright this week friends, enjoy it by letting His love shine and glow all around you. Blessings GS

MISSIONARY’S FINAL WORDS WERE ABOUT JESUS ✝️🇭🇹
Davy Lloyd, his wife Natalie, and longtime Haiti ministry leader Jude Montis lost their lives after a violent attack following a youth service outside Port-au-Prince.
But according to Davy’s family, his final moments became a testimony of faith.
His father shared that the last words he personally heard from Davy were:
“I’m really tired.”
Yet witnesses later told the family that even after being severely beaten, Davy continued speaking to those attacking him.
They said he told them that God would forgive them.
That God loved them.
That Christ cared about them.
His father reflected:
“It was only supernatural strength… He continued to preach until his dying breath and communicate the love of Christ.”
His mother later shared that hearing that testimony helped answer one of the hardest questions imaginable:
Where was God?
Her answer:
“God was with him.”
In their book Strong to the End, Davy’s parents remember a son who loved Haiti from childhood, a daughter-in-law who willingly served beside him, and a ministry partner who faithfully carried the work for years.
Their family says they still desire justice.
But they are also asking a different question now:
Not “Why, God?”
But—
“What now, God?”
Stories like this remind many believers that Christian faith is not only tested in comfort—
but also revealed in suffering.
📖 Romans 8:38–39
“For I am convinced that neither death nor life… will be able to separate us from the love of God…”
📖 Luke 23:34
“Father, forgive them…”
📖 Revelation 2:10
“Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.”
Please continue praying for Haiti.
Pray for grieving families.
Pray for missionaries.
And pray that Christ’s love continues reaching hearts even in places marked by violence.
This couple died May 2024, serving.

The clock of life is wound but once, and no man has the power to tell just when the hands will stop, at late or early hour. Now is the only time you own. Live, love, toil with a will. Place no faith in time. For the clock may soon be still.
One Thousand
But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. (2 Peter 3:8)
We refer to the thousand-year period mentioned in connection with the description of Christ's coming to reign with the saints over the earth as the millennium. (Revelation 19:11-16; 20:1-9)
Many of our friends have taken the journey to the Holy Land. I anxiously await my time, but will be perfectly happy to wait until Jesus is there for His reign. Some have invited us to go, but I never have felt the tug of my heart to go. It is like going to see a big stadium and the team not there yet. I look forward to being there with HIM!
During this thousand-year period, Satan will be bound in the bottomless pit so he will not deceive. After the thousand-year period is over, Satan will be released to resume his work of deceit. (Revelation 20:3, 7-9)
The most important thing to remember about the millennium is that Christ will reign and Satan will be bound.
Some interpreters view this as literal years, and some view this as symbolic. If you are redeemed, it doesn't matter because Peter taught that one day with the Lord is as a thousand years and a thousand years as a day. However, those who have chosen Satan will experience this thousand years as an eternity.
Choose this day how you will spend eternity. Will you spend eternity with God in heavenly bliss? Or will you spend eternity with Satan in outer darkness where there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth? (Matthew 13:50)
Do you know for sure where you will spend eternity? Do you really know? Can we pray for you or loved ones? If so, please respond with yes and if you want to put a name. God Bless!
Ok, you all have played very well this week with numbers in the scriptures! Isn't it wonderful to see God active and putting all these little details for us to find? Who says God only cares only about big things? :)
Speaking of BIG...let's look at the number today of 1000. Where can we find this number in the scriptures?
I love your comments! Please keep them coming!!

This week is Father's Day. I've known many great men in my life. But I'm really thankful this week for a great husband who lived the example of a Godly father to our children. So proud of the servants of God our sons are now living before their children. Happy Father's Day Denny Sanders, Jamie Sanders B.J. Sanders Todd Sanders
Who are you thankful for this week?
