It’s been busy around here these last two weeks. So grateful. 🙏🏼 But oh my goodness, this new allergy treatment dosage has me on saline washes, humidifiers and it feels like my voice needs a little more attention than normal. 😮‍💨 pero vamo’ Pa’ lante.

Visual clutter is one of my biggest annoyances. So naturally, when the end of the school year brings all the school workbooks, projects & materials into the house, I make sure to have a plan to get it all organized, sorted and out of sight.

Here’s what I do.

1. Gather everything in one place of the house. Then sort into KEEP, TRASH, RECYCLE/REUSE piles.

2. Neatly organize items and store in child’s assigned bin.

3. REUSE those supplies that are still usable for next school year. You can always replace them mid-year.

* Most importantly, (or at least to me) is to get this done within the first week after school’s out. Why? Because everything is still fresh in your mind and you can properly label things — like that first A+ math test your little one brought home with such pride and joy after havibg studied so hard for it. That’s a keeper. 😉

**Oh and another tip for parents with multiple kids: I keep my oldest’s math workbooks… Because when it’s my youngest turn to do the work at home, well, I already have the answers. 😅

Oh, and don’t feel bad about throwing away most of the paper work… 🤫 No one has to know.. seriously you’re gonna keep a blank piece of paper with three dots in it? Byeee. Sin pena.
