Words will never be sufficient enough to illustrate how much I love being a father and how much I love this child. From the moment he was born something opened in me and I knew I was going to be fully dedicated to this role and this child forever. 15 years later, that opening has only widened and deepend and has been one of the most fulfilling experiences, and yet there's still so much more to come.

I remember not wanting to have kids. I remember being terrified about the idea of being a parent. I had so many doubts, conflicts, questions about my life. The moment I saw him, held him, kissed him, they all went away, and what awakened in me was something profound, something humbling, something igniting, and I just understood.

Zen, you have been one of the greatest gifts to your mother and I, and I love every moment shared in the journey of my life with you. I say it often and mean it every time, thank you for choosing me as your father, thank you for choosing your mother. We will continue to guide you, support you, and love you to the best of our ability always. Thank you Lila for birthing this child of ours and I love the co-parents we are for him.

Such greatness awaits you my boy. Live it everyday in all that you do. I will always be here for you. Happy Birthday and Glorious New Year of you.

The commitment to live a life in Truth is a dedication of conscious functioning. Feeling nostalgic about the journey of life in this moment. Found myself reflecting, in gratitude, on the original cast and crew familia of and how we all came together to embark on this new journey. Thank you, , for what you have built and for the opportunity and for bringing all of us together. Each of you has a beautiful place in my heart filled with so many memories of laughs, deep conversations, confrontations, and exporations with the recognition that we will continue to create more as we grow.

More richness was added to my life knowing you exist and in such an awareness being able to witness the growth, expansion, and evolution of each of your lives individually and together, while calling you friends and family. Times change, people change, impact and connection always remains. And it is an enjoyable thing to reflect upon with the wonderment of all that is on the horizon. Each of you is a beautiful light in this world.

To the new cast mates that stepped into the journey along the way, you are very much loved and appreciated and added another dynamic to the mix that kept the energy flowing in every way. This was simply a moment to acknowledge this ride. From my heart to all of yours.

Another cycle around the sun, 14 to be exact, brings me to a moment of appreciation, dedication, and love for my son. It is a fascinating thing to witness a human develop into themselves, even more fascinating to be directly involved in the process of development through love, guidance, nurturing, providing, and in livimg an example. You are strong, independent, loving, comical, witty, absurd, confident, shy, talented, and a leader. May you foster all of these traits into an incredible life my boy.

This role of parent clocks in and doesn't clock out. Everything I do in my life impacts yours in some way, shape, or form, and that is a responsibility I do not take lightly. I deem it to be quite sacred. Every stage of you becomes a new form of our relationship as your growth mirrors my own, and you impact my life all the same. I eagerly await all that awaits you as you continue to grow change and evolve.

Zen Mason, I am blessed to be your father in this incarnation, and I will be here to support and love you forever. This is a happy birthday declaration and a proud, heartfelt expression from a father who loves the role he has been granted and honors the responsibility with all that he is.

As the days approach, my little man steps closer to entering his 14th year. What a profound journey Fatherhood continues to be. Meeting the constant evolution of our relationship with every stage of his growth has been an incredible dedication that I am forever grateful for and filled with memories by.

I love that he is my son. I love that I am his father. I love what this journey has been in all of its wonderment, love, laughs, tears, frustrations, enjoyments, adventures, and all the other words available to describe it in totality, though I doubt words ever really could.

I just know I am grateful, and I will continue to do my best in playing my part for you to grow into the man you are designed to be, far beyond me.

In the act of being a guiding light, we expose ourselves to the witness of others. We understand that to show the way is to be upfront and in the line of sight. It is necessary not just for those who see, it also gives a lense to the way shower to have a proper view of what is now with where we are and what can be with where we shall go.

In the act of being seen, it is important to remember that our embodiment is a vital component since we are to live the example as the way, of which then our words can follow. Our journey of self-acceptance is an important key in leadership and guidance. We will have our misalignments to be owned and adjusted. We will meet our own thresholds, and fears, and charges. To meet them, accept them, and move valiantly forward is the only option to uphold the integrity of the path, that we may see it through. And just so we are clear, we will see it through. I see you. We are all more than any one singular aspect of ourselves. There are so many facets to us in the lived experience of our existence in this physical realm and very much beyond it. As I live and manifest day in and day out, I continue to meet more of myself every step of the way. To be self actualized, this is an important notion to embrace and understand. We all must continue to know thy self fully to live greater into all that we are designed to be.

Life is designed to be lived comprehensively, from body/mind/spirit, through each role we play, through each stage of us, and through each area of life we consistently experience. The more we can embrace it all, the more authentically embodied we are, the more fulfilling our life will be, and the more harmonious we will function in the world. I see you. I love you. I am you.

The biggest maturation on the journey of my life, and I would presuppose to say this would apply to most of us, has been a spiritual one. Through my deepening of spiritual connection, I came to live in a more profound understanding of life and the sacredness to it.

This profound understanding completely changed the course of my life yet still kept the passions, desires, and callings in tact. I found that the center of which I moved and my intention toward these inspirations evolved with more purpose and deliberate dedication. It was a greater awareness of recognizing I was designed for more, much more beyond myself. A worthy endeavor it was and is and shall forever be. May we all continue to mature and honor the gift of the sacred. May we all come to live more into all that we are, to contribute greater beyond ourselves. I see you. I love you. I am you.
